On a mission to build the best community centre experience London's ever seen!We will prioritise the city's most ambitious yet most overlooked and misunderstood young people and together, we will rise above!

context

Violence impacting youth

Poverty and inequalities in London are real, but also greatly hidden and misunderstood.Employment opportunities and positive role models are scarce. All while routes to quick and unsustainable money remain glamorised. For too long, we've discussed symptoms of the problems in our communities rather than the root causes. There are amazing organisations already on the case. We're here to add fuel to the fire, and reveal gifts of purpose and passion to our most ambitious, yet most vulnerable young people.

the london mosaic

With gentrification, we now have a mixture of backgrounds and perspectives living side by side. What an opportunity for a young person to spend time with someone from a completely different demographic and learn about the kinds of careers out there. We all know how powerful that conversation can be.But with social prejudice, tensions and preconceptions, this is hard to come by, especially when we let the nature of this city take its course. We're here to bring hope and drive change.

Our young people are signing up with their industry interests, subjects at school and we're working with each of them to uncover existing skills and potential career options. it's going well but they've been hesitant. They are not sure the other side of the community cares. So please please please! Together let's prove them wrong! To show your support, click on the image below.

THE PLAN

2021/ 2022

2023/ 2024

2025 onwards

Our first ever BBQ started on the floor. Yes, it rained and some people thought we were weird but we persevered and created some long-lasting memories.Since then, we've come a long way. We partnered up with Kimber Skatepark in Wandsworth to cater for events. We even finalised our logo (BIG DEAL)!!

Though we've been quiet on socials, the team have been steadily pushing in their individual fields, working towards the collective dream to run the best community centre London's ever seen. This year, we're working to finalise our charity status, focus in on our next steps all whilst making an impact in the circles we're already a part of.

Progress may seem slow but we're very clear on where we're headed.A believein community centre. Self-sustainable, passionate, servant-hearted, generous, local and youth-focused!Coming very soon, to a borough near you :D
